AAU Adds Pickleball
The amateur Athletic Union (AAU) recently announced that pickleball has been added as the newest of AAU’s 41 official sports. With over 800,000 junior and adult athlete members, AAU is one of the largest non-profit volunteer sports organizations in the country.
As the newly appointed Oregon district commissioner for pickleball, I can assist your organization and its members to access the benefits that AAU club and individual memberships provide. These include individual and team insurance and the ability to participate in local and national AAU sanctioned events. The Oregon District AAU website can be found at www.oregonaau.org

USA Pickleball/AAU Alliance
AAU and USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) have recently announced an alliance that will provide both youth and adult programming designed to broaden pickleball awareness among youth and adults and increase general participation. USAPA plan to offer a special $5.00 recreational membership through the AAU website which will allow AAU members to compete in the new combined program.(Click here to view news release announcement)
